FIELD TRIP TODAY: Costa Rica to see How Dole Pineapple is Harvested

The pineapple is a tropical plant with an edible multiple fruit consisting of coalesced berries, also called pineapples, and the most economically significant plant in the family Bromeliaceae. Pineapples may be cultivated from the offset produced at the top of the fruit, possibly flowering in five to ten months and fruiting in the following six months. Pineapples do not ripen significantly after harvest. In 2016, Costa Rica, Brazil, and the Philippines accounted for nearly one-third of the world's production of pineapples.

The Bermuda Triangle Mystery

Bermuda Triangle, section of the North Atlantic Ocean off North America in which more than 50 ships and 20 airplanes are said to have mysteriously disappeared. The area, whose boundaries are not universally agreed upon, has a vaguely triangular shape marked by the Atlantic coast of the Florida panhandle (in the United States), Bermuda, and the Greater Antilles.

John Vincent said, “I will this day try to live a simple, sincere, and serene life; repelling promptly every thought of discontent, anxiety, discouragement, impurity, and self-seeking; cultivating cheerfulness, magnanimity, charity, and the habit of holy silence; exercising economy in expenditure, carefulness in conversation, diligence in appointed service, fidelity to every trust, and a childlike trust in God.”

Who's Your Life Vest?

Make 2022 Your Kindness Year

We've all experienced moments when we feel like life is whirling out of control. Then suddenly someone throws us a life vest, a life line of kindness. It can come in the form of a smile, a kind word, a helping hand, or just being there to listen. It’s time to pay tribute to the seemingly small acts of kindness that in fact have an extraordinary impact. And so we asked people from around the world Who has been a "life vest" in their life - their life line of kindness in a sea full of troubles, their bit of hope when it seems that hope is lost. Here's what we found:) Share this video with someone who has been a "life vest" in your life!

Thou Art the Christ, The Son of God

Matthew 16: 13-19 13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Cæsarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias ; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ , the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar -jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church ; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Mr. Haymore's Testimony

 Steve Haymore

Jesus Christ lives. He our advocate with the Father. He is our Mediator with the Father. He is our Redeemer.

The prophet Moroni taught:

4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.

5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

By the power of the Holy Ghost you too may know the truth of these things;  therefore, pray and ask Heavenly Father if what I am telling you is true, and the Holy Ghost will manifest unto you that it is all true.  This I know!  Do it: I care about you.

How the Holy Spirit Guides

The Holy Ghost communicates with Heavenly Father’s children in a variety of ways. Communication may come as a moment of clarity, a warm feeling, or a prompting of encouragement to make the right choice. Listen as ordinary people describe their own experiences with this trusted influence. “If we pay attention to the promptings that come to us, we will grow in the spirit of revelation and receive more and more Spirit-driven insight and direction” (Ronald A. Rasband, “Let the Holy Spirit Guide,” Ensign or Liahona, May 2017, 96).
