I think that this statement is true because when we have money we really to want it or we use it quickly and them when we don’t have it we want it because we really need it to pay bills or to make some purchase of our daily life style. Then there are things that you really need like food and shelter that is why this statement is true to many people in the world.

This quote is true. It's like when you have money and spent it on things you don't need, but when you need something you don't have money anymore. When you have money you are happy, but when you spent it, it is not good anymore. People go broke because of that. Choose the Right!!!

I think that we become far too attached to our material possessions in life. We live in a materialistic society. How much money is in your account determines how comfortably you live; along with the things you own, it plays an important role in the way people see and treat you. Even so, in time, the happiness or initial rush we may receive when we purchase a new t.v., or a new car, eventually fades. It pales in comparison to what you must endure when you lose your possessions. There is no reason, then, to become so engrossed with material or worldly possessions if they bring us so much misery.

What I think that this is saying is that money is not really important. Also that you may get things with it but when you don't have any you might feel like you need it really bad because you would have gotten used to wasting as much money you wanted to waste, thats why I think it says it is the thing that will torment us with its loss.
