"We felt great about Choosing the Right!!
Hayro Boiton, Daniel Gonzales and others were recently inside an am/pm store buying a few snacks. They saw a man that appeared worried, scared, sad, and very depressed, as if something in his life was missing. At the time these students didn't pay any attention to this lonesome man, for they were more concerned about eating, satisfying their appetites; therefore, they purchased a few goodies and departed.While walking away, Hayro noticed a truck with the initials C.T.R. on the side. Hayro got Daniel's attention and pointed to the C.T.R. The C.T.R. reminded them of CTR (Choose the Right) in Mr. Haymore's class. They chuckled a little and continued walking. All of a sudden, they saw a wallet laying on the ground near a car. Initially they were thrilled, excited, and they couldn't wait to see whether or not it had money inside. If it did have money, they were going to grab it all as quickly as possible and run before anyone saw or caught them.
Daniel picked up the wallet and said, "Maybe the guy back at am pm lost it." They opened the wallet, checking for money and other valuables. (Time for choosing CTR or CTW was immediately at hand) They could have stolen money, credit cards, and other valuables, giving them pleasure for only a few minutes. While searching the wallet, they saw the owner's ID card, and it was definitely the man they had seen back in the am/pm store. They thought about taking the money (CTR or CTW), but then they remembered CTR--they knew the right thing to do--return the wallet to the owner without stealing anything; therefore, they ran back to am/pm and caught up with the worried man just as he was leaving the store with his head hanging down toward the ground.
They presented the wallet to the man, the rightful owner, and he was so humble and grateful! He was so thankful that his wallet was found and returned to him. He was deeply appreciative to Hayro, Daniel, and friends because they were honest enough to give it to him. The students were all smiles and were happy to see the worried man smile and being happy again. The man was thankful that these students chose the right.Abraham Lincoln said, "When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad." Hayro, Daniel, and friends said, "We felt GREAT about CHOOSING THE RIGHT!!
Hayro, Daniel, and friends, I am so proud of you for your honorable acts of honesty and integrity, for Choosing the Right. For you and other classmates who always Choose the Right, I commend all of you for Choosing the Right 24/7.

I feel good to know that people, like these boys are still out there. That they know how to say no to the temptation. This is a perfect example of choosing the right. When you choose the wrong, bad things happen to you. And you probably think, 'Why is this happening to me,?' it's happening to you because you brought this on yourself. No one is punishing you; you're actions are punishing you. If only everyone thought likewise.

When you choose the right you get a great feeling,that you did something good in your life.Hayro and Daniel would have lived wondering what happen to him if they took the money,they wouldn't bear to live knowing they might have cause great harmed to him.Hayro and Daniel chose the honest and honorable way with that situation.That man will forever be grateful becuase it must have been really important for him to have his wallet back.
AWWWWWW my budies did this. I didnt know about it. I know that Hayro and Daniel are very nice people. they always do whats right. I know how they must of felt for choosing the right. It does feel great you feel like good with yourself.

WOWW!! well honestly this was something that actually nobody would do if this situatution had happened to them. This two kids were really honest and very nice to return the wallet back,,((: and aperenttly i know one of this heroes (danny) he is a great guy. Really nice really responsible and so active. Its nice knowing you have friends that choose the right<3

I think that what Hayro and Daniel did was great. I think that if I would of found the wallet I would of also gave it back to the guy who lost it. It feels really great when you choose the right. If you choose the wrong then you will have guilt and will feel bad for a while. But if you choose the right, then you will feel great forever.

These two students should really feel proud of themselves for choosing the right. Since they chose the right and if they continue to choose the right then that will make them become academic champions. Honesty is very important and well it's very good that they are honest students that also makes them academic champions. Making good decisions will take them to success.

Wow this is a great example of CTR. They really chose the right because most people, especially young ones would have taken the money and have not returned the wallet back. I think it was very humble of them to give it back because the poor man was very sad and worried for his wallet. That would have been very sad and disappointing if Hayro and friends would have taken it. Their conscience would have made them feel super guilty and bad. I known Hayro for many years now and this act of his doesn't really surprise me because he has always been a humble person and great friend and Im proud of him for not changing his ways. =D

wow, thats a very good thing they chose the right. good things will come back to them (karma). i would of done the same too, returning it would of been the best thing to do,because if i were in that position i would of expected my wallet back, with everything in it. so would of appreciated those people who gave me my wallet back a lot. knowing that i have all my cards and cash that costed me to earn.

These students did the right thing they remembered about Mr. Haymore's class and decided to Choose The Right. I would of done the same thing return the wallet back to that man. These students are heroes they inspire me to choose the right everywhere i go. Im proud of these students because they were honest and they didi the right thing. So always Choose The Right 24/7 and you will become an Academic Champion.

wow what heros we have in school and honorable. They give and get. Hayro and Daniel chosen the right. i need to start choosing the right more often so could be a hero of CTR.
wow this is very shocking what a coincidence that the man going through all that stress was the man who had just finish loosing there wallet.! i remember when i was at a car wash and i found a purse. well this purse had a wallet and other things in it. i knew right away that i had a decision to make weather to be an honest person and return it if they had ask for it. so i knew if i was going to be honest and choose the right i was going to feel good after words. suddenly i seen a lady asking people if they haven't seen a purse. i looked at the driver license and it look like that lady. so i went over and told her that if the purse i had found was it and she was like omg! yes it is thank you very much. she wanted to give me $5 dollars in return but i was like no its okay i did feel good after that too like hayro and daniel. CHOOSE THE RIGHT AND FEEL GREAT AFTERWORDS.!

well i really like this quote it was a really good thing they choose the right track. also other people wont give the wallet back but the thing it matter they gave it back to the man. it always good to be honest and have good choices. i would do the same thing you guys did give the wallet back CTR ;).

i will do the same thing because if that will happened to me i will like to get my things back how they were and i don't want other people to go to the same thing and i think that is a good think that they gave the things back and they didn't tock any thing way from the wallet and they gave back to the man. yesenia.v. block.1

This kind of people inspire any one the they found somethig and they know the they need to returned to the rigth person the lost his wallet, money, or etc.but are kind of people the they see money or a wallet in they kept it but they do not think about the person the way they feel when they losed something. I have read this whole story and i am surprised. It was a big coincidence that the truck with the letters CTR passed right before they found the wallet. I am glad that we all have the CTR mentality. I am pretty sure that they will definitely get something in return. It doesn't matter how small there reward is. The main reward that they had was to have a clean conscious after they returned the wallet.

Hayro and Daniel did choose the right by returning the wallet to the man. if i was that man i would have given them both something for returning my wallet, but at the same time i would realize that they probably would not want anything. instead they would get their own reward by choosing the right. after all its always better to not get anything in return when you do something for others because choosing the right is its own reward.

You too can choose the right. Like these students, you can shift from ctw to ctr. Choosing the right IS the right thing to do. Because if you choose the wrong, bad things will happen to you and you won't be successful. i think they choose the right because one time my mom lost a wallet that had about 150 dollars in it and she was worried and was constantly retracing her steps. After about a week she recieved a phone call and a women said that she found her wallet and that she had seen it when it fell off her vehicle. Choosing the right is always a nice thing to do because in the end you will feel glad and proud because somebody else choose the right.CTR IS THE BEST CHOICE!!!!!

This is a great thing for their choice whether to be corrupt or pure. Choosing the right will always give you a good feeling in yourself, you feel happier. Choosing the wrong will make you feel bad like if Hayro and Daniel didn't return the wallet to the crying dude, later on they might have felt shame and pity among themselves.

I think that what Daniel and Hayro did was great. They show that CTR is the best thing to do. Who knows, what if the men had really important things inside that wallet. I understand why he was worried. I would feel the same way if that had happen to me. It's so easy for people to just get the wallet and take it. Daniel and Hayro did good in deciding to take it to its owner.

Wow this is a great story. They really did ctr. They were thinking of taking the money but instead they took the wallet back to the man. If it were me I would have also took it back cause if it were I in the worried man’s shoes then I would have been freaking out also. Well they did a great job taking the wallet back.

i think its great what they did. they made the right choice by giving the man his belongings. i can imagine how worried and furious the man felt. loosing something that is very valuable. it was a righteous thing to do! i think they deserve an award! they followed the class mission, they worked hard on debating wether they were gonna give the man his belongings, they worked really smart by making the right choice by returning the man his wallet, and they worked together and made the right choice. always choose the right!

I Agree with this quote I would of done the same thing if I would of found it. I think that what they did was very kind and honest of them to do because other people in their place would have made the decision to have kept the wallet instead of returning it to the owner. I, myself would have felt the same about finding a wallet, but would give it back just like they did. For example, put yourself in the place of the man, if you would have dropped your wallet, wouldn't you want to get it back. Next time you find anything on the street, CTR!!!

That is very sincere from them. Almost no one would have gone back and gave the poor man his belongings back. Still they wouldn't have liked if the wallet was theirs and not been returned. I am very proud of both of them. GO CTR!
