"Many years ago, the graduating class of a large university was given an examination in English vocabulary. The test scores were graded into groups of 5 percent---the top 5 percent, and so on to the bottom. At regular intervals during the next 20 years, questionnaires were sent to the surviving graduates, asking them their occupations, incomes, and so on. Without a single exception, those who had scored highest on the vocabulary test were in the top income group, while those who had scored lowest were in the bottom income group." LEARN and LEAD
If you're a leader that shows a lot of courage and ability from you. If you are able to be a role model to others, to lead a group of people then you are considered a leader. When you lead you have to set an example for others, but you can't do this without learning from others. its like a teacher, a teacher is a leader but they learn from their students as well. And a student becomes a leader within the class when they raise their hand and asks questions when his or her classmates are too scared to ask. But you're always learning. Thats what's important (:

You can be a great leader simply by learning! The more knowledge you have on something, the higher you can get in your career. The higher you get, the more pay and authority you will have. To be a leader, you have to make your way up by learning and learning each day. I think no one should expect to lead without knowing exactly what they are doing because many people depend on the leader to lead them in the right direction. Learning and working hard can make you a leader anytime just never give up and you can be great! =D

What I think this quote is saying is that if you put leadership and learning together, you will choose the right and become successful. Leadership will help you by leading communities or whatever you are the leader of. With great education, you will join it together with leadership and succeed in life. For example, the President of the U.S. went to school and got his education. Now he is the President of the U.S.

I agree with this quote. Leadership and learning are the same thing but a little different. To become a leader you have to know how to lead and for that you learn from an other leader. Learning is everywhere. I guess what its trying to say is that if you learn, have an education you will become a leader.

what the quote "the sky is the limit" means is that when your learning something that is part of choosing the right there is no limits into STOPPING from learning as much as you can. For example if you play basketball like mean, i would like to keep on learning more and more everyday because when it comes to choosing the right pretend that the sky is limit to stop that, which i think its going to be quite a longgggg!! time. I agree with this quote. In order to be a leader, first you need to learn how to lead. So you can lead yourself and others to right way. So you can be someone who they look up to but for that you need to be a good leader and well you need to learn how to be a leader. So I think without learning there is no leadership, so pretty much learning leads to leading. Its very important though to be a good leader and lead the right way!

When you learn to lead you help motivate others. You become good at public speaking and learn how to handle a group of people. For example if you are in a speech class then you will learn to lead people with your voice. You will have what it takes. You never stop learning. You learn something new each day without knowing it. If you learn how to be a computer engineer than later on in life you may lead the world in manufacturing software for computer around the would. You lead with what you learned. I agree with this quote when your the person learning the most eventually you will be the person leading. If you learn the most in your studies you will lead the class as the top student. Once you finish your studies and go on to a career you will be more prepared than the other because you have learned a lot. We all want to lead the one that leads receives the highest salary. I agree because first in your life time when your little you learn if you listen and try your best on working hard. What the quote says is true because in order to lead you will first have to learn how to. For example, if you are going to lead an expedition, you will first have to learn which trails you are suppose take and which you aren't. I think that the message that this quote is trying to get across is a very important one and i really suggest that everyone takes in the message its putting thru.
