what these quotes mean are very true. there are saying that if you want to do something for example play a sport for your school and you don't know how to play at all, if you practice everyday and put effort you will sure get better and improve your skills every single day.! like the quote Marva Collins said "Excellence is not an act but a habit. The things you do the most are the things you will do best" this also means that not just in sports in your studies as well if your always doing the c.t.r you will have excellence and lots of things. so always choose the right to have excellence as a habit.

Practice,Practice is the key to do something really well. Many people are good at things they do becuase they do that certain thing everyday. They spent well invested time into it,while others quit one hour into it.If you practice you will master it and feel very proud of yourself for achieving that goal.So practice the things you love the most.
Excellence comes out naturally, you cant make it happen nor quit doing what you do. Excellence is something you do without even noticing that you do it. Its like when you do something and then all of a sudden you go back some steps you did and you say " wait? I did that?." yes, when you perform an act of excellence you just do it without even noticing. The things you like the most are the things more likely you will be doing most of the time.
ReplyDeleteFor example:
If you love to play basketball and hate doing homework, which one would you prefer to be doing most of the time?
The question is more than obvious, you will eventually be playing basketball, your not going to be doing homework 24/7 when you hate h.w.

It is true that practice makes perfect. Practicing something makes you do that something perfect. After much practice, it just comes to you naturally because you have been constantly doing it so it turns out to be very easy. At first it may seem hard but once you start practicing and not giving up, you will be perfect at it. You can never expect to be great at something the first time you try it. It takes time and lots of practice and dedication to be great. Just never give up and keep at it until you feel you are great and perfect. =)

This quote is true because the things that you are good at are the things you do. For example, if i play basketball all day and practice hard i am definitely going to be good at it. Excellence is not a act it's a habit. You can obtain excellence by practicing, preceding, and proficiency. Always work hard and persist and you'll be good at whatever you do. Always choose the right and you'll be an academic champion!!!

It's true practice makes perfect. When you practice something the more you practice the better you get. When you make mistakes you learn from them. That's why you shouldn't give up and keep trying, keep practicing. By practicing you can get better at whatever you want as long as your actually trying. For example I always try my best at everything I do and I keep practicing until I get better. I never give up. Choose the Right!

They say practice makes perfect, so the more you do something the better you become at it.
ReplyDeleteFor example, if you play an instrument; lets say a violin. You can become a great violin player if you practice at least twice a day on a daily basis. You just have to want it and do it. It's all in your attitude and if you say you can, you can.
Persistence leads you to success.

I really like this quote. It inspires me and probably other people too. What it is saying is that the more you practice the more proficient you will be. If you practice and practice you will succeed. For example, if I practice baseball everyday sooner or later I will be a better player. Practice makes perfect.

I agree with her cause i didn't know how to dance or sing and now im a great dancer and well the singing is getting there. There's people out there that have something they are good at and they don't know it. It may be something good that it can be successful.

Excellence doesn't mean you are the best at what you do, but practice gets you closer to perfection. The more you practice you do, the better you will get at the thing your practicing. Like in school if you don't take it day by day, you wont get the grade you deserve if you just show up one day and do all the work, it'll be impossible to reach your goal that way. So practice each day and you'll be the one that stands out more than the rest. :)

This quote is true. I think you could make excellence a habit. Its also true that the things you do most are the things you do best. For example if you study hard you will pass your tests, if you practice on getting better at soccer you will play great games.
ReplyDeleteAlejandro Mecalco Block:1
This quote makes sense because people that practice and keep practicing will be good at it. For example sports, many people are average at basketball and say taht they suck, but even the pros started off "sucky" so to speak. Just keep on practicing jump shots, free-throws, jumpers, and sonner of later you will be great and making the shots every time.

There is no need for your parents to tell you to act excellent around others, excellence should become one of your habits! For example if you are learning how to play the piano and you want to get really good, practice everyday for it will make you an excellent piano player! People may think that if you believe in yourself you not only accomplish things but you master them!

practice is a important task that requires thought and mindset.
ReplyDeleteeverybody should pratice in what they love doing therefore they can achieve something great in the future.prctie means choosing the right choosing the right equals success.!CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!!!!

i think the reason y that say its a habit is because habit are hard to break such as picking your nose or biting your nails. but this is one of those habits you don't want to break. because academic champions choose the right and no when to keep going with something. and the things you do best are the things you are good at because you always practice them wherever whenever and however.

This quote makes a lot of sense to me. Excellence is not a one time thing or something that you plan to do once and not again. Excellence is a habit that you try to accomplish every time on everything you are interested in. You have to work hard in school every day to receive good grades on your quizzes, home work, tests and final grades. If not the you wont receive what you aimed for at the start. We always have to be ready to be excellent on anything that is given us to complete.

I agree with the quote because it is true what its saying that you could make excellence a habit. And the things you do most are the most important. And you just gotta keep doing them.
ReplyDeleteGOnzalo Ramirez

Well what this quote means is that what you do more of you will become excellent at it. You are not born with the talent to play the piano but you learn to play it. So what happens you practice over and over again and you become excellent at it. Just like choosing the right if you keep doing it over and over again then you will become excellent.

i agree with this quote because usually the things you do the best become your hobby's but also you can make a career out of it.

This is true practice only makes perfection. If you want to be perfect with something then all you have to do is practice. NEVER give up either because when you give up then you will wont be able to reach your dreams!

I agree with this quote because practice makes perfect. The more you practice, the better you will get at it. For example, if you want to pass a test/quick you have to study to be able to pass it.

I agree. The things we do more would of course be the best things were good at because if you never played tennis and you try it out, your not gonna be good at it but if you have played soccer for a very long time with all that practice and skill you'll definitely be good at playing it. This quote really inspires me because it also pushes me to keep doing what am doing and keep being the best at what i like doing. Practice makes perfection so work hard in anything you do.
ReplyDeleteDiana Gonzalez

I Also agree with this quote. I think that you need too get practice at everything you do in order too achieve your goal. for example in order too achieve in tennis you need practice so that you could get better you can do anything you want all you need to do is try and practice never give up! choose the right!!!:D

the quote is true. you need to practice to obtain excellence. the more you practice at something the more excellent you'll get at it. you should practice at the thing you want to be excellent at.

This quote means that whatever you do a lot is the thing you're the best at. For example, if you use the computer a lot then you're good at it. Why? Because if you do it a lot, you are practicing and every time you are practicing, you're learning. CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!

This quote is saying that is you try hard enough you will be able to get far enough, for example if you able to fix up cars you can get a career.

A person becomes better at things they do more often. They get more practices in doing that certain thing that they gain more knowledge towards it. No matter what it is. You could reach excellence by doing things as a habit. Example is a basketball player. When you practices and you make it a habit in doing your best you can reach excellence. Its just a matter of staying consistent and working hard.
ReplyDeleteLuis J.

I agree with the quote of Marva Collins. I believe that you can get to perfection. For example, when you first start something that you do not know such as a sport, learning how to do something, or something you are not good at, you can get better if you try. Practice makes Perfect. You will not be an expert when you first attempt to do something, but by practicing daily, you can get to perfection.
ReplyDeleteL.Dorado
Block 2
That is so true about the things that we do the most, we will get better at it because practice makes perfect. If you keep practicing you will eventually get the hang of it and will be able to do it without having trouble. For example, if you're if you're not good at a certain video game, you will be able to pass it if you just keep at it and not give up.

Its really true how you practice and try your best at something your not good at you improve and become better at it. The quotes are trying to say that if you practice in a sport or something your not good at it and you practice every day your skills get better and then your excellence becomes a habit.

This quote means its true what you need to practice hard of what you do in life best. For example practice hard study hard. You will end up graduating.

This extremely true but its also very dangerous because you need one simple and very important element to go along with that quote. And that is C.T.R., because without C.T.R. somebody may be doing something bad and because they do it often they become good at it i myself encourage everyone to follow this quote but follow it using C.T.R. because i want to see everyone succeed. Hope to see you all at the winner circle. bye :D

I believe practice makes perfect, I have tried it before. The more I practiced the better I got at it. If you fail the first few times practice more and more, You'll get better at it, It WILL happen.

the more you practice on something the better you get at it. when i was in basketball i didn't know how to dribble the ball with my left hand. i knew it was very important for me to know how to dribble with both hands. right and left. i had no problem dribbling with my right hand. but i wasn't able to control the ball with my left hand. so i began to practice and practice. and the more i did i got better at it. i was able to control the ball with my left hand. so practice means a lot.
