Students, I came across this poem, and I immediately thought of 'Attitude' that we are discussing and blogging about in class. I challenge all of you to change your attitudes to the "Winners" attitude, and, consequently, you will become and remain a WINNER.

Winners take chances. Like everyone else, they fear failing,
but they refuse to let fear control them.
Winners don't give up. When life gets rough, they hang in
until the going gets better.
Winners are flexible. They realize there is more than one
way and are willing to try others.
Winners know they are not perfect. They respect their
weaknesses while making the most of their strengths.
Winners fall but they don't stay down. They stubbornly refuse
to let a fall keep them from climbing.
Winners don't blame fate for their failures, nor luck for their successes.
Winners accept responsibility for their lives.
Winners are positive thinkers who see good in all things.
From the ordinary, they make the extraordinary.
Winners believe in the path they have chosen even when it
is hard, even when others can't see where they are going.
Winners are patient. They know a goal is only worthy
as the effort that is required to achieve it.
Winners are people that believe in themselves.
They make this world a better place to be.
When you think like a winner you will be a winner. Having the attitude of a winner is great for you. Because you have this attitude you will be a winner. You will be rewarded like a winner. But you have to choose the right and think like one because by thinking you are one you will become one.

Sometimes it's hard to maintain a positive outlook on life, to get back up after having been pushed down so many times, but I think that it's worth it. You can't just allow things in life to bring you down, you can't afford to deprive yourself of the beauty in the world. Simply to be alive and breathing can be enough motivation to go through another day with your head help up high.

I think that this poem is a very good poem because it says a lot of what many people do to make their dreams happen. Many of them are athletes but it is okay because they are the one’s that know what it takes to work really hard. Then there are many people are going to say why only them. Then many people look at what they have to do to get their and then see their hard work and their determination and that is when they start to realize that they work real hard.
ReplyDeleteI think that this quote is very good because excellence is not a skill because you are not excellent. It is a Meir saying that you are good at the skill that you are doing and that it is like perfect work. So it is the attitude that you have toward doing something good.

that's true that we are winners. we have keep going through hard obstacle to reach the goal. in order to go through that goal s to never give up. you have to be persistent to go trough. if you're not being a persistent or feel like not winning anything. then you're a failure. so don't be a failure, be a winner. Sometimes people think they can't be winners. That it just comes naturally to them. You are a winner because you choose the right. And you push your self to do it. Its hard winner but, trying you will get there.

i guess everyone is a winner in life you gotta put your mind into it, then you'll be good. There people that thing there all that then they just stop doing work cause there not choosing the right. keep choosing the right everyone.

All these quotes are very good. Like the one that says that winners never give up. It is true because winners never quit. They always find alternatives to being successful at what they do. Like me for example.

I think that this is a great poem. What I think that this poem is saying is that people can be winners. Anybody can be a winner in many ways. What I understood is that winners have positive attitudes. That is what I think about this.
