Goodness

"Goodness is the only investment
that never fails."

"Fill your life with goodness. You have so much good to choose from that you do not need to partake of evil. When you fill your life with goodness, you leave no room for anything else."

Lee Greenwood - God Bless The USA

"God Bless The USA"

If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife
I'd thank my lucky stars to be livin' here today
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away

And I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA

From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee
Across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to LA
Well, there's pride in every American heart
And it's time we stand and say

That I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA

And I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA

President Donald J. Trump

President Donald J. Trump delivered his first term farewell address at the White House January 19, 2021. True Americans are deeply grateful for the fantastic leadership President Trump has provided our country the past four years, and for the many incredible accomplishments he and his administration have achieved.

We congratulate President Trump for winning the most recent presidential election. We are sadden to see his term end so abruptly due to Secret Combinations of the biggest voter fraud in history.

We sincerely thank him and his family for the outstanding people they are and for the many sacrifices they all made to Make America Great Again. May God bless them now and forever.

Persistence

Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.

Persist until you DO SUCCEED!

Persistence is the most important factor in pursuing high academic success, even becoming an Academic Champion at your school, college, university, or any class or course you are pursuing. Even if you are self-teaching yourself a particular subject or topic of interest, your assimilation of this project and being a champion of its content is to keep persisting until you do succeed on a high level. Many can start out on a journey, but the highest rewards are bestowed upon those who persist.

Others may be more talented that you. Others may have more advantages that you. Others may have learn faster than you. They will be average or below average unless they too persist. Your persistence along can take you to the top of your class. The highest achievements go to those who persist the longest.

Decide now that you will persist until you succeed.

Do Your Best

CTR Champions and Academic Champions have made a personal promise to obey the first part of the Boy Scout Oath: “On my honor I will do my best.”  What a marvelous promise to make to yourself and to others: to do your best. You are more talented at certain things than some people, and there are people more talented than you in other things. These comparisons are not important. What’s important is that you do your best no matter what amount of talent you possess. Doing your best brings peace of mind and a feeling of self-satisfaction.

John Wooden, former UCLA basketball coach and winner of 10 National Championships had deep insightfulness about doing your best.

Students, whether you are playing basketball or singing a song or writing an English paper or reading a book: Do Your Best. Do your best and let the consequences follow. You will not have any regrets when you do your best.

Shannon was an outstanding junior high school student. She was an overachiever, and she always strived to do her best. She studied so hard that she became the top student in the entire junior high school. How? She was taught to do her best, and her best brought her to the top, even membership into the CTR Club and the Academic Champion Club. Her hard work made her a Champion. You too can be an CTR/ Champion if you DO YOUR BEST.

Read and Fly Like an Eagle

Click this link to learn 12 Great Benefits of Reading 30 minutes a day

Reading Gives You Wings

Students, I trust that you are continuing your Daily Reading Adventure that you started months ago. You set a goal to read a certain number of pages each day, then you go to your Google Sheets report calendar spreadsheet and write the number of pages you read. Do this each day-day in and day out.

Here's another great goal: Read at least 30 minutes per day. This 30 minutes can be part of your Daily Reading Adventure. Strive to read at least 30 minutes each day and then report on your report calendar. You will be amazed and delighted at the positive energy this will bring to you.You will be more enthusiastic, more positive, and more confident. You will end up reading 25-30 books this year. WOW! Just think of it!

CTR people read at least 30 minutes each day. Reading is a CTR activity. Read and enjoy.
