Jesus Heals a Possessed Man

Luke 4: 33-37 33 ¶And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, 34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. 35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not. 36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out. 37 And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.

Develop CTR Character Through Prayer

Prayer is a way to communicate with your Father in Heaven. Pray daily and

sincerely.

The four steps of prayer include:

1. Our Father in Heaven

2. I thank thee.... [Thank Him for specific blessings and things you are thankful for]

3. I ask thee....[Ask for His help. Plead with Him. Confide in Him. Talk with Him. Pour out

your heart to Him. Tell Him how you really feel. Council with Him in all your doings on

any topic.  Ask Him to guide and direct you. Ask Him to bless and help other people

and mention their specific names. Be completely honest and sincere with Him]

4. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

"All things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

(Matthew 21:22)

"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe

that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." (Mark 11:24)

"With God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26)
