PRAYER

Develop a CTR Character Through Prayer

Prayer is a way to communicate with you Father in Heaven. Pray daily and sincerely.

HOW TO PRAY

The four steps of prayer include:

1. "Our Father in Heaven"

2. "I thank thee...." [Thank Him for specific blessings and things you are thankful for]

3. "I ask thee..."[Ask for His help. Plead with Him. Confide in Him. Talk with Him.

Pour out your heart to Him. Tell Him how you really feel. Council with Him in allyour doings on any topic.  Ask Him to guide and direct you. Ask Him to bless and

help other people and mention their specific names. Be completely honest and sincere

with Him]

4. "In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

"All things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

(Matthew 21:22)

"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe

that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." (Mark 11:24)

"With God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26)
