A lot of people are insecure with themselves. They’re afraid of feeling left out by not changing their appearances or by simply just being themselves. The feeling that "everyone is looking" at oneself is a preoccupation. The physical image plays the main role in their importance. For instance some people worry about being over-weight when sometimes they are truly thin. Also, others worry about what to wear and about what will everyone else say about it. I personally believe that we’re all self-conscious in various ways, but...

are you or are you not SELF-CONSCIOUS ?

  1. I think I'm self-conscious, but not in the sense that I change my appearance for the benefit of others. I wear what I like, clothes and otherwise. I believe that we should all be self-conscious to a certain degree; sometimes it can push you to change for the better. For example, I used to be overweight, and I didn't like the way I looked, the way I couldn't wear the things I liked or do a lot of things I wished I could. That motivated me to lose that excess weight to be healthier and happier. I understand that some people try and lose weight without any real need, but I think that under normal circumstances, being self-conscious is just about you trying to be comfortable with yourself.

  2. I think that this quote is very true because at of teenagers worry about that in a daily bases. If people all around the world were like that then every one would be in the doctor or in the hospital because of them losing or gain too much weight. That also go with looks that they all want to be in style with the latest clothing. Those are people that are insecure about them self.

  3. Im going to say that i am as well. I have to say that every one is. I do worry about the things i wear and how i look from time to time. But you just have to no worry about it and just go with what your gut is telling you.

  5. I think most people are I think every one is like this in one way or another. They have to be at one point in their life. They don’t want to be judge by other people. THEY ARE AFRAID OF BEING THEM SELF-BECAUES OF WHAT OTHER PEOPEL MIGHT THINK OF THEM. I think people should not be like this and be them self but it is hard to not care what other people think about but you have to try.

  6. I agree with you i do think all people are self-conscious , theirs many different things people can be self-conscious about. It doesn't always have to be about looks it could be work wise or job wise. Once you know you are putting your self that means your self conscious. Sometimes it gets to people but you have you learn to be confident with your self and your work , because its on you if you want to put your self down.

  7. I do think everyone is self-conscious one way or another. Its really hard to not care what people say about you, but i think we should really try not to listen and just be us. in other cases being self conscious is not that bad for example if its like being overweight that can make you change and you can even be healthier.

  8. Its true. A lot of people care about what others say. You should only care about what you say. Only listen to your opinion and no one else. Everyone is just a critic. They only want to criticize you because they are bored or they just want to mess someone's life. The only one you should listen to is yourself.

  13. I THINK I AM SELF-CONSCIOUS BUT WE DONT WANT TO ADMIT WE ARE. I THINK EVERYBODY IS BUT THEY ARE AFRAID TO LET PEOPLE KNOW IT. I THINK WE SHOULD BE OURSELF AT ALL TIMES. WE SHOULDN'T CARE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK AND SAY. BE WHO YOU ARE AND DONT BE WHAT YOU ARE NOT.

  14. I think that this is a very good quote. Not only because its true, but its a very interesting quote. I think that people shouldn't really worry about their appearances. I think there will always be something that we don't like about ourselves. But that doesn't mean that we should start hating ourselves or start feeling embarrassed about ourselves.

  15. This is a true quote. I think everyone is self conscious one way or another. You don't have to worry on what people think of you just do what you think is right. For example, you don't have to be in style just because others are. Just be yourself.

  17. I think that we all are self-conscious, whether we like it or not. But it is all to a certain extent. Some people can be more than others. I feel that it is not such a bad thing. But we have to be careful and not let it go out of hand.

  18. I think that most people are always by themselves. And don't talk to no one. And it makes them a dumb person to themselves. And never to grow and always becoming a class clown. In addition you think people are making fun of you. Because you don't become someone better. Just be yourself.
