This quote is very true. Your name says a lot about who you are. If you are a very important person, then your name will stand out. People will know who you are and what you do. For example if they call you, "Dr. Hernandez" then that means that you are a doctor. Your name says it all. You are a very important person. You went to college.

Im guessing this has a lot to do with being well mannered and about being polite. Let's say you want to be known for something at school, you don't wanna be known for having a bad reputation. You wanna be known for having manners and for being that one person everyone likes to be around with. You have the opportunity, so use it.

what this quote means is that if you go out there and do good thing good positive things you would be known for that. for example if you push yourself in any sport and you set your goal that your going play hard every game people are going to know who you are and that an example of your name to shine people saying your name or talking about you because of a positive thing your good at or that you do. so if you want your name to keep shinning make sure you do the right everyday so people could know that thats what your doing everyday.

You can always make your name shine by Choosing The Right. Your name can shine like a diamond if you put your mind to it and succeed. Your name can shine in so many different ways. You can make your name shine by being the star of a sport, being the first in your family to graduate from high school and/of college or just by simply being friendly to everyone. you can also shine your name by doing something really bad but that shines your name in a very dirty way and no one really wants that. According to this statement, what is trying to say is that your name will shine if you work hard and be successful in life. You are in charge of your own path and in charge of making your name good. And when people say things about you that are good not bad. Your name must shine like a diamond because you are a diamond. The meaning of this quote is that a person should have morals and learn to be a polite person. Your name is a diamond, which means take care of it, because any scratch or fall can affect it. no matter what name you have it stays with you forever. whether its a nickname or your actual name. you may get a nickname from your friends because of something you do and therefor they give you a nickname that suits you. just like me my friends call me gambit because i would always bring a deck of cards to school everyday and so because of that they gave me that nickname. if you want to have a nickname that is not bad then go ahead and do something good that gets you noticed by other people that may or may not know you.

As many have said before me I can see what this means because if your name is a diamond you want it to look shiny, beautiful, and worth a lot but if you do shameful things then what is the worth of your name? Nothing. But if you do good things then it looks like a great diamond and everyone will admire your diamond.
