Fate does not determine what you will do with the rest of your life.Your life decesions make your future,so you make your future not fate.Many people have thought saying that"fate chose this path for me"no it did not you did when you decided to Choose The Wrong.We are prisoners of our minds becuase we believe things like that it was just bad luck,that is not the case you decided to do something wrong and you paid for it.
I don't really understand this quote. What I think it is saying is that we all control our minds. we can't control other people. For example if someone chooses to do bad its because they choose it. It is not because someone else controlled him. That is what he wanted to do. We control our minds and we have to do what is right. CHOOSE THE RIGHT.

what this quote means is that prisoners of our own minds is that it just people like us that just decide too choose the wrong and end up behind bars. this being said means that they have no freedom and have to be under someone supervision at all times and dont get to do anything for choosing the wrong. if they would have chosen the right they would of have been out of prison doing the c.t.r without anybody tell them anything but only good comments for always choosing the right, and like in this slide share above says "success doesn't come to you you go to it." Basically you are what you think; & where you are now is because of your actions. Its not about fate or what was meant to be, it's about what your choices brought you to. for example, a prisoner isn't in prison because it was meant for them to be in prison, it's because they decided to choose the wrong and now they're there. You have to think before you act so you don't end up regretting it.

we all have different perspectives, everyone sees things different. when you chose something, its because you chose to and because you want to. you make your own decisions and choose wherever you choose to be. your a prisoner of your own mind, you make your own decisions.

I think that your mind is the most important thing there is to you. Your mind is the thing that makes you do what you do and set your goals. If your let your mind trick you and you don't stay focused on what your goals are, then you will end up choosing the wrong and failing at your goals. Your mind is a very powerful thing and you have to learn how to control it and guide it in the right direction. If you loose control your mind will end up controlling you and make you a prisoner of your own mind. Always stay focused and keep your mind on the right things and you will always succeed. =)

This quote is true because your choices got you where you wanted to be. For example if you choose the wrong and went to jail it was because you choose not to make the right decision. You should always choose the right so you wont have to be regretting things later in life. Always choose the right way never go the wrong way. Always make the right decisions and choose the right!!!

I really don't understand what is trying to say. But i think that its saying that men don't make themselves to change or have bad luck. I guess its saying that if someone chooses to do bad things its because they have it in their mind already. For example, some people that are in jail are not their cause of their bad luck but because they choose to be there.

I do agree with what this quote said i think that no man is a prisoners of fate but the only prisoners are there own mind. You can can be free of anything if you put your mind to it and have no limit to success so remember to free you mind and not be a prisoner. If your a prisoner of you own mind you wont be able to be successful an any way posable. Everyone is prisoner of there own mind but some always break free from it. So free you mind don't be a prisoner of you own mind take control.

I think this quote means that well you are not a prisoner of your fate which means you can do whatever you want. Sometimes people don't do things because they are scared of what might happen. People need to learn to take risks if thats what makes them happy. Nobody is a prisoner their fate. CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!

they are prisoners of their mind because it was in their mind that they decided to do what they. because nobody else can control your mind. only you can control your mind and tell it what you want it to do and what you don't want it to do. so in reality men are in prison because of their minds when their minds are also in prison. also when a person's mind is imprisoned they don't think correctly. so in other word don't let your mind become in prison and use it to become an academic champion.

If you choose the right then you are free and independent means is the opposite of someone choosing the wrong and being locked up without freedom. For instance if your friends tell you to steal something from a store, you have to think right and choose the right! If you would have chose the wrong and you wouldn't have got caught you would live with that guilt and you'll feel locked up in your own guilt. Also, if you get caught then you literally get locked up and live without freedom. A person who chooses the right should get the freedom they want.

What this quote suggests to me is that if anyone ends up in a situation that they thought they would never end up like in a gang or jail. Then it wasn't fate or bad luck that brought them to there horrendous situations but it was themselves. They are the only one to blame because they did not think it through and saw the consequences that lay ahead. Which can also be said about success if you find yourself in a successful situation then don't thank luck thank yourself. Your brain is a great think don't waste it and think.

I agree because sometimes we act like if we don't know how to do something because we just want to play around or lazyness. But you know you could do it! It's just that sometimes you could be lazy or you want to do something else that is not really important like joke around. But we all know that if we try we could do it and be really smart. Also if we pay attention to the teacher when there explaing how do something like in the assignments. Show you talent to the world!

Well what this quote means is that you are not held back by fate but by your own being. Its not the thing that happen to you but the fact that you let it become something wrong for you. Thats why you would be a prisoner of your own mind. So you shouldn't hold yourself back but you should propel yourself forward. And choosing the right will not let you be a prisoner or you own mind

every person chooses where they end up in life, whether its a collage student or a homeless person, or a criminal. When i know i"m am going to do something that will make me think twice I always go with choosing the right choice.If a person doesnt have time to make choice just go with the positive instinct. You decide where to go in life and not fate or an event that just occured.
