An experiment carried out at the University of Chicago proved beyond doubt the power of imagined experience.
A number of people were divided into three groups, then they were tested on shooting basketball foul shots. The groups were given the following instructions:
Group 1— Did not practice foul shots for 30 days.
Group 2— Practiced foul shots every day for 30 days.
Group 3— Practiced foul shots only in their mind (imagined experience) for 30 days.
Group 2— Practiced foul shots every day for 30 days.
Group 3— Practiced foul shots only in their mind (imagined experience) for 30 days.
After 30 days the three groups were tested again and the results, compared to their initial performance were as follows:
Group 1— Showed no improvement at all.
Group 2— Showed a 24% improvement.
Group 3— Improved by 23% improvement.
Interesting: Group 2 had literally practiced with the ball shooting baskets every day for one month. Group 3 had not seen nor touched a basketball for 30 days. It practiced only with imagination.
I think this quote means the person who thinks that they will not be success, will not be a successful person. So think about being successful and start working on it and you will soon be a successful person. Imagination and thinking is the key to success. CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!

I think think that your imagination counts a lot in your goal to success because if you don't imagine you are going to do well you will fall completely and fail.If your imagination is different and it's positive it will help you achieve and go higher in life . i really like that little basketball experiment from above. Working hard will always get you far. What made me go, "wow" was the interesting fact of group three. I know that works because imagination is like that inner voice we all have inside, only it's much larger, and better drawn. :D

I really like this quote because it's true anyone who is able to use their imagination has wings. Using our imagination is like dreaming, a dream with wings that wants to fly away to come true. What the quote is saying is that with imagination you can get somewhere in life because there's not limited in what you can think of and where your dreams can get to so it helps you out in life to think out side the box and actually know there's more out there in life then what everybody thinks there is and with your imagination it will help you out to get creative with your own things in life.

We always think that using your imagination is only for little kids but no we should all use it. Imagining will not take any time away from anything that you are doing. Imagination can help improve many things even though you might not be actually doing them. Like the 3rd group that was just allowed to imagine shooting foul shots they improved a little as to the group that was not allowed to practice nor imagine practicing for 30 days. Imagining something might help it come true.

The quote is good because with imagination, the sky is the limit. Well actually there is no limit, its just a saying. if you have no imagination, then you would physically have to do things to picture it. With imagination you can do anything, or go anywhere and you wouldn't even have to leave your house. Imagination can take you places you would never think of going, and even further. Without it you wouldn't go very far.

Imagination is the key to everything. Everyone should have at least a little bit of imagination. People without imagination do not succeed because they don't believe they can do what they set their mind too. Imagination is believing. And you need to believe. If no one believed in themselves we wouldn't have light, gas, medicine, and other such important things in life. Geniuses such as Edison, or Einstein, IMAGINED what their invention was going to be like. If they didn't they might have given up. This reminds me of one of the quotes that i really like from Albert Einstein "logic will get you from A to B, imagination will take you everywhere." i think everyone should use there imagination every now and then:)

The quote is said without imagination you will get no where. If imagination is only for kids then how did the much older people get to create planes, space shuttles, boats, and computers? How do artist come up with their art in drawing, music, statues, and dancing. Imagination is always used, it's used in the clothes you wear, it's used in the car you drive, the bike you use, the computer you use. Imagination is used everywhere you are. A kid has imagination in flying, drawing, making new things, and animation. As they grow up they lose a little of that, only the youngsters that grow up and keep are the ones who move forward and succeed with imagination.
