This quote is very true, because even in dictator countries where the truncheon is used in lieu of conversation, words always retain their meaning. The meaning for those who will listen; the enunciation of truth. The truth is more powerful than a lie; a lie can shape nations, whilst a truth can destroy them, It's always better to tell the truth than a lie, because it is the right thing to do. I like this quote because telling the truth is being honest. Honest is the key to bringing you one step closer to your goals. Telling the truth is the right thing to do, because you can lie to your teacher that you studied but you can't lie to yourself. In the end the results will show when you take the test. =)

Some people constantly lie their way out any sticky situation they come across but that is not a very smart thing to do, they may feel like they have gotten away with it but later on those lies come back to bite you in the behind. People have a hard time telling the truth sometimes. For the fact that they don't want to get in trouble or they don't want to hurt someone. But telling the truth is the right thing to do. I like comments like these. They talk about how you should always be truthful and honest. At time saying the truth seems like its not a good idea just because you don't want to hurt someones feelings. But it is good because if you lie the truth will come back and bite you in the butt! For example, is snookie and jwow (from jersey shore, lol) would have been honest about writing the letter from the beginning then most likely the whole drama between them and sammie wouldn't be going on right now. :D

Her statement is true, if you tell the truth your mind will be at ease and the truth is easier to tell than a lie. Telling the truth is important for reaching your goals, because only then you will know if your goal suites you well or not. Lying is cheating yourself into getting what you want, but by always being honest and telling the truth means your mind is at ease and you truly deserve where you stand.
