A victory where a team or teammates use unsportsmanship tactics to win a game is truly a loss.First of all you will lose your current skill level instead of training better cause cheating is not pushing you to the next level.Cheat now and you will pay the price later,it might feel good that you won but it will haunt you till you get whats coming to you.Players who have cheated have all lost what they won like trophies or even there careers.Many fans will know them as the greatest disgrace to the history of the sport,Would you like to be known as that for the rest of your life?
If you don't have good sportsmanship you're known as a horrible player and a horrible person. You have to have good character and good attitudes towards other because thats the golden rule. You treat others how you want to be treated. For example, if you and your team won the championship and you rub it in the other teams face and you tell them off thats not a good player. You have to give them feed back like "good game, maybe next time" or "You did a great job!" or anything to show good sportsmanship or else you'll be known as a loser.

When you win a game in order to have good sportsmanship you need to have honor. When you show your respect to your opponents thats having honor. Having honor bring you a good reflection towards people. So always when you win a game of basketball show your respect to the other team. i like this quote a lot because since i play a sport i like to keep this in common. winning with honor means winning an award for bravery. i like the quote because its true if your not happy in how you won the game for whatever reason then it is going to be consider like a great loss. having honor earns you respect, and good reputation as well. always have integrity in yourself work to the fullest and never cheat because thats part of not being honest. if you have in integrity in yourself you will never give up until your through. you will be honored and trusted by all the people you meet. having honor, being honest, having integrity is all part of C.T.R so choose the right 24/7

Winning is always what everyone looks forward to and wants to do. But unfortunately there is some people who win but without any honor. Not having honor towards what ever you are playing means that you don't have respect towards it. Cheating to win is a great example of winning without honor for the game. When someone wins without cheating or doing anything to disrespect the game, that is great honor and by that you win much more that only the game. Even if you happen to loose but still played your best with honor, you are still a winner! Honor is a great thing that everyone should have towards what ever they do. the honor you have shows how much you value your game. =D

I really like what this quote is saying. If you are playing a game and you win, you have to win with honor. If you don't win with honor then it will be a great loss. You might have won the game but for the other team, they're the ones with the honor. You should always have honor when you play the game. Win or lose, you respect the other team.

I agree with this statement when you win something and you dont have honor for what you have won you just lost. people that are in any sport when they win they win with honor to there sport. In other words i guess its saying if you win something dont think that you won just you, because in reality the whole team won.... and its honor that will take you there. If you play a game without following the rules, then your making it your game and that isn't the way you play that is no longer a game anymore.

Winning without honor isn't a win at all, it'll be like trying to win and humiliate your opponents at the same time. But if both teams respect each other, they will play fairly and hard, and no one will take it personal against each other. So play in honor of proving each other how much you guys have practiced instead of trying to boast to one another that you could win!

ReplyDeleteWhat this quote means to me is that if you do not play with honor and pride, then there is not point in playing. A game is just a game and after you WIN, What's Important Now? You should play because you like to do so not because you always want to win. Winning does not give you happiness. But the thought of you being able to give it your best on the field or the court, gives you that pride.

For example if you are playing in a basketball game and one of the other team players shoves you on purpose be the bigger person with honor, and continue the game. In the end when you win, you will feel good about it because the other team didn't use sportsmanship or honor.

Its a great exercise. if you have good sportsmanship then you have a great character and a positive attitude. A victory without honor is a great loss. This is true because the only way to win is through honor if you cheat your way to winning then you really don’t win. If you cheat your way to anything you don’t win at all. To me this quote mean a lot, because I played basketball here at high school for 2 1/2 years. It always good to win in a game and to go out and play hard, but there is a certain point where u have to show respect to your opponent. It's called sportsmanship. You have to respect each other in the field or court. It's always good to go out there and play hard and try to beat the other team but you have to do it with dignity. It's good to be competitive and aggressive but sportsmanship is always important in a sports.

Sometimes it might give you what you want but you know you are doing wrong by doing it. if you win a game by cheating or anything that falls in that section it really isn't a win. the reason being that you couldn't play fair so you had to cheat and take advantage of that situation. you might have think you guys won but in reality you know it wasn't true. deep within you its a LOST.

Competition is a great way to know how good you are and if you win thats great. However how you win is way more important than the actual game. You have to show honor to the game and respect to your competition. Without respect then everything become chaotic. Winning with shame is never good you should rather loose with dignity knowing that you gave your competition your best shot. Then to win without honor.

Even though you loss don't have to feel bad about it because you also put all your effort into it. this quote means that if you won and know you cheated then its basically like you lost. if you win a trophy for a sport and it was a final then that trophy doesn't mean much cause you cheated on the other hand the other team lost but they know they tried their best at reaching that trophy. for example if theirs a picture of a trophy and on team uses a latter to reach it and the other team is working together at reaching it. thats what this quote means choose the right.

I agree. I like this quote because as an athlete i can really relate to these kind of sportsmanship quotes. Winning with honor is good and bad at the same time, when winning and making fun of the other team because they lost makes you look like a bad athlete. When having good sportsmanship you must need positive attitude at all times and never give up and put lots of effort into the game. Work together with your team and work hard, and work smart.

If you want to win or have sportsmanship work as a team to victory work as a successful team with sportsmanship work together to victory. Be a the state champ. Winning without honors isn't winning at al, it'll be like trying to win and humiliate your opponents at the same time. Both have to respect each in or out of the field and win square enough.
